William C. Goings is an experienced Board Director and retired C-suite level executive with extensive global business leadership experience.

In his capacity as a Director, he has advised companies regarding strategy development and implementation, business transformation, management development and succession planning, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, risk management, human capital management, technology and innovation, and business development.

Mr. Goings is on the corporate boards of The Penn Mutual Insurance Company, TrueBlue Inc., and AARP Services, Inc. His board committee assignments include Audit and Finance, Corporate Governance and Nominating, Compensation and Human Capital Management (Chair), Innovation and Technology, Investment, and Marketing and Distribution.

Mr. Goings’ prior executive position was EVP, TD Bank Financial Group, and President, TD Insurance. Before joining TD Bank, Mr. Goings held various operating roles with Genworth Financial and GE Capital. Mr. Goings’ earlier career was spent working for global companies in corporate banking, strategic planning, and business development.

Mr. Goings is a graduate of Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management, and Morehouse College.
