Don currently serves on the boards of Aerometals where he serves as Chair, Jake’s Finer Foods and FAT Restaurant Group. In addition, he recently served for 12 years as the first independent director and Audit Committee Chair for Blue Diamond and as the Founding Chair of NACD-Capital Valley. He also serves as a strategic business advisor to a range of ownership groups on M&A, business building, growth initiatives and executive leadership.
Don has been CEO of numerous businesses, ranging from early stage to mid-market and Fortune 500 settings. He was also a Managing Partner at EY, consulting with boards and executives on strategy, organization, process improvement, performance management and business transformations. Don has an MBA from Stanford, is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow, recognizing his commitment to board director and governance excellence, and is also a national judge for Deloitte’s Best Managed Companies Program which recognizes private company excellence.
