Tim Cabot serves as chairman of privately owned Southworth International Group Inc since 2012. The company sells material handling equipment serving lifting and positioning applications for manufacturing and distribution and has operations in the US, Europe, and China; and was a recipient of a Private Company Director award in 2019. He is also the CEO of Katahdin Industries, a platform surface-treatment solutions provider to the medical products industry, focused on vascular, endosurgical, and orthopedic instrument and devices through its subsidiary Precision Coating. Mr. Cabot is on the board of directors of CRJ, a non-profit based in Boston that provides prison re-entry support, group homes for adults with development disabilities, and operates a nation-wide consulting practice on criminal justice issues where he is chair of the Advancement Committee. He has a BA from Columbia University.
