David currently serves on the boards of First National Bank (NYSE: FNB); Koppers (NYSE: KOP); Deep Lake Capital (Nasdaq: DLCAU), Armada Supply Chain Solutions ($3B privately held company); ALung, Inc. (venture backed med device company with $120mm in invested capital), Forest Devices (venture backed start-up) and Stanford Research Institute (SRI). Leadership positions include: Lead Director, Nom Gov Chair, Audit Chair.

During David’s 30 year corporate career, he led strategy formulation for more than 50 businesses with revenue from zero to over $2B. David’s last three corporate roles were VP, GM positions with Respironics (acquired by Philips) and Covidien (acquired by Medtronic) followed by a Senior Managing Director role with Headwaters SC (acquired by EY).

Since leaving corporate, David has co-founded 4 enterprises: The BlueTree Venture Fund (www.bluetreeventurefund.com), Black Tech Nation Ventures (www.btn.vc), DDRC327, LLC (a real estate development company), and MCAPS, LLC (a professional services company). David is also the co-Founder of the African American Directors Forum (www.aadfpgh.org), one of the more highly regarded resources for connecting board opportunities to exceptionally qualified African American executives.

David is a Distinguished Alumnus Awardee of the PITT’s Swanson School of Engineering and earned his MBA at Harvard.
